OTHERS

Here we have some photographs of the town park where we went to relax some days. The Arcade where we listened to music and played pool everyday. Do you remember the music? Everytime we listen to these song we are going to remember our experience in Ireland. We have a photographs of our plane and waiting in Shanon Airport with our hats, we put the bags in the scales and most of us had extra weight so we started putting on clothes.. We went to have dinner together. We wrote our names in a wall in order everybody knows that in summer 2008 we were there.

CLIMBING THE MOUNTAIN

Nil wants to make it clear that that was the exursion he enjoyed most, but i was very demanding, climbing up the highest mountain in Cahersiveen. When we got to the top we deserved a rest!

CELTIC MUSIC FESTIVAL

last Friday we didn't go to the Harp because it was the Celtic Festival, the town had a Fair and lots of people everywhere. The best was the "basking", you sing in the street and the people give you money, Josep Lluís and the girls sang and Edgar played the guitar. We sang "boig per tu" of course and "llençat" and come on, come one baby now twist and shout........ and the people were shouting with us and giving us money. We won 39 euros, that was not bad considering that the teachers made 20 euros the previous year. What does that mean? Do we sing better than the teachers?...

ADVENTURE WALK

We went walking around the mountains near Cahersiveen for scenic views of south-west Kerry, the most beautiful part of Ireland.

ARCHEOLOGICAL WALK

A few quilometres outside the town on the opposite side of the Fertha River are the ruins of Ballycarberry Castle. This fifteenth century castle, which was once owned by the McCarthy Mores clan and subsequently by the ancestors of Daniel O'Connoll, is still impressive, despite the devastation caused by Cromwellian forces in 1652. We walked inside the castle and went to the top, then we visited the forts and Edgar went to a hole and ended up full of mud. Fortunetaly, we went running to the water and had a good time in the water in spite of the cold.

ROCK CLIMBING

we had to wear a helmet and harness for rock climbing. It was good fun, first we had to go down a wall and then we had to climb another one. That was in Valentia island
